چکیده
Abstract The increasing generation of plastic wastes forces us to search for final disposal technologies environmentally friendly such as pyrolysis, which becomes an interesting technique because it takes advantage the obtaining important products. In addition, catalytic pyrolysis by using commercial catalysts, e.g. zeolites, alumina or recovered from other industrial processes, allows decreases activation energy and selectivity in obtained this study, we report evaluation with a regenerated fluid cracking catalyst thermogravimetry polypropylene pyrolytic process carried out batch reactor 1:10 ratio (catalyst-plastic). regeneration studies were two solvents (ethanol toluene) at different contact times, then thermal heating ramps was performed best treatment evaluated scanning electron microscopy energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy surface area analysis. results showed better action ethanol chemical 14 h heat due longer gasification coke. degradation temperature compared no-catalyst process. As consequence, yield liquid fraction 10% greater orientation aliphatic components. Graphical abstract

Pyrolysis and co-pyrolysis of Laminaria japonica and polypropylene over mesoporous Al-SBA-15 catalyst
The catalytic co-pyrolysis of a seaweed biomass, Laminaria japonica, and a typical polymer material, polypropylene, was studied for the first time. A mesoporous material Al-SBA-15 was used as a catalyst. Pyrolysis experiments were conducted using a fixed-bed reactor and pyrolysis gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (Py-GC/MS). BET surface area, N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms, and NH3 tempe...
متن کاملCatalytic Pyrolysis of Wild Reed over a Zeolite-Based Waste Catalyst
Fast catalytic pyrolysis of wild reed was carried out at 500 ̋C. Waste fluidized catalytic cracking (FCC) catalyst disposed from a petroleum refinery process was activated through acetone-washing and calcination and used as catalyst for pyrolysis. In order to evaluate the catalytic activity of waste FCC catalyst, commercial HY zeolite catalyst with a SiO2/Al2O3 ratio of 5.1 was also used. The b...
